The installation is a satellite-controlled kinetic sculpture which consists of six equal robotic arms each pointed in the direction of a different GPS satellite orbiting above us. As soon as a new satellite rises above the horizon a corresponding arm follows path until it disappears again beyond the next horizon. The result is a kinetic sculpture continually changing its shape with the slowness of a clock hand portraying the artificial constellation of celestial objects speeding 14000 km/hour at an altitude of 20000 km. Their orbital paths viewed from a different point on the globe leave a different imprint, therefore the movement of the robot at each exhibit location is distinct.
